My journey into the world of painting

My artistic journey began in 1999 in a psychosomatic clinic, where I used paper and my fingers as tools for the first time. It was during this intense time that I discovered my love of art – a moment that has had a lasting impact on my life. Since then, my painting has continued to develop.

Today, I often paint intuitively and let myself be guided by inner impressions and feelings. I am particularly fascinated by blind painting: with my eyes closed, accompanied by suitable music, I create works that come from deep within me. I experiment with different techniques, such as charcoal pencils, to bring my emotions directly onto the canvas.

In 2008, I found my faith, which shapes my art in a special way. My paintings are an expression of great gratitude and a tribute to the beauty of life. Music that honors God accompanies me and helps me to make the connection between heaven and earth visible in my works.

But my art is more than just paint on canvas – it is deeply intertwined with my family and my faith. I am the mother of a son, David, and a daughter, Sarah, and have a loving family with my siblings Marco, Petra and Davina and my wonderful parents Peter and Alide. I am especially proud to be a grandma – my granddaughter Emilia enriches my life in countless ways.

My family, my faith and my art are my foundation and the source of my inspiration. All my works are dedicated to God, because without Him nothing would be possible for me. He gives me the strength and gratitude that is expressed in each of my paintings. All honor is due to him.
