Encounter in the unknown

This series was created during a phase in which I embarked on a curious, open and at the same time vulnerable search for a new love -
via a dating app.
Between digital encounters, short messages and moments full of hope, I met someone I connected with for a moment.

I asked him if I could paint a picture for him – or rather: pictures.
Pictures that translate a song into color and form.
“The Door” by Teddy Swims became our soundtrack – intense, longing, honest.

Even if nothing lasting came of our acquaintance, this experience is not meaningless.
On the contrary: these works are testimonies to an honest search, a fleeting moment that triggered something in me.

The Blind Edition stands for exactly that: getting involved, not knowing what is coming, and yet creating with an open heart.
It is raw, approachable and personal – an artistic echo of a moment that came and went, but left its mark.
