A summer between darkness and light
I came to Überlingen in 2012 – hoping for a fresh start.
At the time, I didn’t realize how challenging this path would be.
Although I was in a relationship, I often felt lonely.
The time was characterized by inner withdrawal, emotional pressure and noisy moments in which I could barely find room to breathe.
In the midst of this difficult phase, I began to paint – almost as if out of an inner urge.
It was a summer in which I created many paintings.
Each one became a silent expression of my feelings, my struggle, my longing for peace.
And it was during this dark time that something unexpected happened:
I felt a closeness that I had never experienced before – the silent, comforting presence of God.
For me, the Summer Edition 2013 is much more than a collection of pictures.
It is the visible testimony of an inner journey – through pain, towards hope and new strength.
