History of creation:

This work marks the beginning of my journey into blind painting – a discovery, which has fundamentally changed my artistic work.

It began with an impulse: What would it be like if I concentrated completely on my inner self?
I sat down in front of the canvas, blindfolded myself, listened to music – I no longer know the title of the song, but it triggered something in me.
I began to tremble slightly and suddenly felt a powerful, still presence.
It was as if the spirit of God was flowing through me and guiding my hand.
This moment was deeply moving – and the image that emerged carries this energy.

I let my hand wander over the canvas with charcoal – blindly, guided only by my innermost being.
Later, when I took off the blindfold and began to fill in the shapes with acrylic paint, I realized:
I had found a new form of expression.
This way of working gave me direct access to my inner experience – without censorship, without intention.
Just feeling, movement, faith and intuition.

Meaning:

This picture is a key moment for me.
It stands for letting go, trust and the deep experience of spiritual guidance.
It is the first step in my Blind Edition series – and the beginning of a completely new artistic language.
