Blind Edition - Art with closed eyes, open heart

Blind painting means absolute freedom for me. I start each work in complete darkness – blindfolded, without seeing what my hand is creating. While I draw the first lines on the canvas with a charcoal pencil, music accompanies me from the very beginning. I allow myself to become completely absorbed in the sounds, feel the emotions and intuitively follow the movement that the music evokes in me with my hands.
Only when the song ends do I take off the bandage and look at the resulting picture for the first time. Then I continue to let myself be guided by the same music, but now in a visual way. I fill the painting with color and bring it to life as I continue to transfer the impressions the song has triggered in me onto the canvas. This process makes each work unique – an interplay of intuition, sound and emotion.
Every buyer has the opportunity to tell me their personal favorite song. I will listen to it, engage with it and transform my feelings into an individual work of art inspired by that music. This artistic experience takes time, but it creates a very personal image that creates an invisible but deeply tangible connection between music, art and people.
